Basic Surfing Rules

- Alcohol. Whenever you go surfing there’s no need to be drinking before, just save the beers for afterwards, so you can brag about how good you were doing.
- Look around. You aren’t the only person in the sea, look for signs incase there is a current etc.
- Don’t over estimate yourself and try to surf with the big boys, remember the sea is dangerous.
- Make sure your fit enough to paddle all the way out back and back in to the beach.
- Wait 40 minutes until eating, wake up early eat, then go surf!
- Surfing is a fun sport and we intend on keeping it that way.
- Don’t be throwing your board away whenever white water comes your way you never know whose behind you and could get smacked by a surfboard.
- If you want to get better then get in the waves and surf, no one got good by eating food all day.
- Respect the locals if you are on holiday there, just remember that they surf their everyday.
- Rips are a strong current and usually go out to see, so paddle across it not wear yourself out by paddling straight at it.
- The sun can badly burn you so wear some sunblock.
- Sounds sad sometimes, but bring someone surfing sometimes you never know when you need help incase something goes wrong.
- Make sure the waves are surf-able and safe enough for you to go in.

Follow these rules, or you will pay.
