Black Rocks is a very popular break, there are rocks at the side and seaweed always floating around near high tide. It takes the right swell to get this spot going though, whenever its going off like the photo beside here you it is well worth the wait.Many of the locals don’t really chance paddling out through the white water, so they jump off the rocks at the side. You have to wait until white water comes in and then jump into the white water and paddle out back. Its handier than paddling from the beach. This spot is only for experienced surfers only because many of people have had snapped boards and some nasty things has happened. Thankfully they have WestBay Surfboards to fix dings.
